I wanted to ask you guys about what you thought of last years severe thunderstorm season. I personally think it was very good and we had many severe storms. June 25th August 9th and August 20th just to name a few notable events. And also do you guys think this year will be anywere as good.

2008-2010 haven't been as active around here as it once was. May/June/July used to be ripe for lake breeze convergent thunderstorms near here, but the last two-three years, not so much. Aside from Aug 20th, last year was pretty lackluster pretty much Ontario wide. We haven't had as many squall lines in recent years, same for rogue supercells. July and August were the time for severe storms almost every week in the 2003-2007 time frame.
The 1970s-early 2000s were very active according to the research I've done, 2001-2002 had a serious lull, then it picked up 2003-2007. IMO.
