At least my kids know what to do in tornadoes...we were in the basement in Burlington on Aug. 24, 2011 and then yesterday.
![]() It was a very humbling experience to walk down the streets of Angus last night looking for family members...my kids have a new appreciation for my weather interests. I am so glad no one was seriously hurt. I wish I had a better camera to capture the storm... I saw rotation and saw debris (even though my video on youtube isn't as clear as original) the sky turned greenish - then we went downstairs. Close call. There was even damage in my neighborhood in Barrie (southwest area).

A storm with possibility dissolved before it got to me, but the front was fairly photogenic as it passed.
