the cell north of goderich near Kincardine has some decent rotation going on, 24,000 top which isnt crazy but it is showing a small hook from exeter station that agrees with the rotation signature, this one might get upgraded to a warning.

This just passed thru here, excellent rain, lightning, no wind in my area, but the tail end of the storm had tonnes of wind shear, but no clear wall cloud of center of rotation, almost passed right over my work place.

At 3:03 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado.

A severe thunderstorm possibly producing a Tornado is approaching Middland from Southern Georgian Bay. This storm is tracking from west to east at 60 kilometres per hour. Damaging wind and wind gusts to 100 km/h are also likely with this storm.

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately.

Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris.

In Canada, lightning kills up to 10 people every year.

These thunderstorms are affecting areas from Bracebridge in the north through Orillia and southwestward to Orangeville and are moving eastward at about 80 km/h. The atmospheric environment is also favourable for tornado development.
