Severe Thunderstorm Watches were just issued.

The first one worked fine. Unfortunately, the new link updated to the new map with all the wind warnings! Oh well. The watch extends from Goderich, over to Kitchener and then north, away from the lakeshore and Toronto, to Peterborough, and up to Haliburton. Then it goes back toward Bracebridge and south along the Georgian Bay and Lake Huron shorelines, excluding the Bruce Peninsula.

Edit: The watch has been extended from Brantford to London.

Most agree that the main tornado threat extends from Listowel and over through Eastern Ontario, south of Ottawa. But all areas have a threat of course.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have just been issued for:

- Sarnia - Petrolia - Western Lambton County
- Watford - Pinery Park - Eastern Lambton County
- Chatham-Kent - Rondeau Park
- Windsor - Leamington - Essex County

Winds here in St. Catharines right now are very high. Almost all the street lights at intersections were out on my drive home from work. Tree branches down.

I can only imagine what it would have been like if there were leaves on the trees!
