ok, so spc has some severe potential for southern ontario, not getting my hopes too high, but maybe just maybe, this could already start developing by noon and early afternoon....fingers crossed

Severe thunderstorm watch issued for much of southern Ontario. Seems like all the line of storms develop just south of Sudbury-North Bay corridor

I've got my fingers crossed too..but..with all this cloud cover and rain ahead of it all..I just don't see it happening. Maybe I'm not experienced enough but I'm just not seeing anything big at least in saint catharines

There was some heavy rain and rumbly thunder with light gusty winds around noon, but now it's just rain. If this rain was much more north, then we'd have more sun. It'll probably be late afternoon by the time the sun comes out.

Total downpour for an hour straight here this afternoon. Rumblings of thunder but not a huge thunderstorm, but boy did it ever rain.
