so the spc has some pretty decent risk levels out for southern Ontario today, but after looking at my maps im skeptical that any of it will actually develop. most of the afternoon and evening have lower than favorable wind shear and CAPE required to generate these severe storms, and I'm thinking the line of cells over northern Michigan wont reach us until later in the evening when all the energy is gone. maybe some light to moderate t-storms this afternoon but I'm thinking its a bust.
any thoughts?

With all this cloud cover, I don't see anything good happening anywhere above London. Also, a watch was just issued.

From the Newton Ontario area at around 6:30pm.
If anyone could tell me how to get the Exeter feed from that time & location, I'd love to see what this looked like on the radar imagery. Last edited by Skies; 07-27-2014 at 11:33 PM. |
