2003, Nov.13 - High Winds (72 km/hr sustained (5 min. average), 100.8 km/hr gust @ 4:30pm)
Note: a few of these shots are a bit blurry - I was using a telephoto lens and the wind was shaking the camera (and me!) all over the place. Camera used: Canon EOS Digital Rebel. |

Aurora Borealis, Nov.21, 2003, St. Catharines, ON The northern lights were visible tonight after a recent solar flare eruption from the Sun. This was the first time I had ever seen them. Images taken from north St. Catharines, looking north across Lake Ontario towards Toronto city lights. F5.6, 30-45 second exposure, 18-55mm digital EOS EF lens, Canon EOS Digital Rebel camera. |

Aug.12, 2012, 2AM - Perseid meteor shower
No shots of meteors. Saw ONE shooting star but it wasn't within frame on the camera. So this is just some shots of the stars in the night sky. Please ignore the lens flare caused by nearby lights.
