Re: Tornado warning for Sudbury region

I watched the storm passing by Barrie from the roof of my building - what a great light show! I got a few decent photos and video; I'll upload them shortly.

What a pleasant surprise, i wasn't even expecting anything serious today but i noticed the cell heading to barrie just in time to grab my gear and hit the road . i think i got some excellent sunset t-storm photos and video of the light show after dark. I'll post as soon as i stitch them together. Just got back about an hour ago.

Here it is, hope you like it :)

I had my head in the garage all weekend renovating and didn't even realize until the afternoon that there might be a chance of fun. As I'm working away I hear the rumble of thunder, checked the radar immediately, saw the warnings up in London area and two separate cells heading right towards me. (the cells i'm talking about are the ones that passed over Collingwood and Barrie, and the one that passed slightly north of Midland not the ones by London if it sounded like that) quickly grabbed my camera and put some stuff in my garage and there we go. I find it funny: when I look for severe storms and tornadoes i never find them, but if i don't pay attention for a couple of days they roll right over me
