Guys just got a really scary call from Goderich.

Family friend says news is severely downplaying the situation right now. They said houses are gone on the east side of town. Rumorus going around about search and rescue finding dead people in destroyed houses. Not confirmed, but I'm getting constant calls from them. They said some houses aren't just missing roofs, they said houses are debris piles.

That is just insane, the reports of damage you are giving derecho. That would likely be F3 or higher damage if homes are gone. Also thanks for the photo Twister that is insane I would have loved to see that off the lake

Oh wow. That looks intense. I'd be a little nervous driving over 120km/hr through those conditions and with that kind of debris laying around the roads...

Re: Goderich F3 tornado - August 21, 2011

Yeah! Nice footage for sure but perhaps not the smartest thing to do boxed in a small town full of debris with debris still flying everywhere... I mean.. chasing an F3 in long country roads is all good most of the time as you can, in most cases, either turn North East , South and West within a short distance.
