Anyone want to poke a guess at approx. date of our first thunderstorm?

Saw some lake breeze cumulus around the west end of lake ontario today and had me thinking the stormy weather is just around the corner.

I like that. April 18th is my twin boys' birthday. I often compare the mess they make to the EF scale.:D

I'll take whatever comes up, even if it's a garden variety storm. I would say mid-April with the stronger storms in mid-May (hopefully):whistling:

I'm going to say southern Ontario's first good severe storm will come at the end of April / beginning of may. I know about 10yrs ago we had a strong severe tstorm here in St. Catharines in March, so anything's possible. But right now the weather seems to be changing only gradually - no strong fluctuations in temps to trigger much.

Could be some storms next week.......I started working day's this year 7-4.......sigh......I hope for some good weekend events!

That was actually pretty amazing :) Although storm season actually started over a week ago... but still, he pegged the day the first watches/warnings occurred.
