Note: a few of these shots are a bit blurry - I was using a telephoto lens and the wind was shaking the camera (and me!) all over the place.  Camera used:  Canon EOS Digital Rebel.

NOV.21, 2003 - AURORA BOREALIS

Aurora Borealis, Nov.21, 2003, St. Catharines, ON
The northern lights were visible tonight after a recent solar flare eruption from the Sun.  This was the first time I had ever seen them.  Images taken from north St. Catharines, looking north across Lake Ontario towards Toronto city lights.  F5.6, 30-45 second exposure, 18-55mm digital EOS EF lens, Canon EOS Digital Rebel camera.
