August 11, 2011 a very photogenic stovepipe tornado developed out of a supercell over rural eastern Cherry County, Nebraska. The tornado came within a mile of a small village, and only town for almost 35km along a lone stretch of rural highway, called Wood Lake.

Veteran storm chaser Jeff Gonzales was on the tornado and caught some amazing footage.
