Weather radar has been showing severe thunderstorms currently over or moving into the warned regions. These storms are capable of producing large hail, damaging winds, and brief downpours. There have been reports of gulf ball sized hail and wind gusts of 43 knots in these storms while moving across Southern Manitoba. There is also a chance of a tornado associated.
And then at the same time you have a good warning

Oh now I can add a NWS Warning Fail.

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
NORTHERN COOK COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...
NORTHERN LAKE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...
EXTREME NORTHEASTERN ST. LOUIS COUNTY IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA...

* UNTIL 1100 PM CDT/MIDNIGHT EDT/

* AT 1001 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED IN THE QUETICO
PROVINCIAL PARK OF SOUTHERN MANITOBA CANADA...NORTH OF COOKED
LAKE...AND SEA GULL LAKE ALONG THE INTERNATIONAL BORDER. THIS LINE
OF STORMS IS MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. NICKEL SIZE HAIL MAY ALSO
ACCOMPANY THE DAMAGING WIND.

Looks like a good warning...only problem is that the Quetico Provincal park is in Northern Ontario not Southern Manitoba. And the storms are long gone from Southern Manitoba. Cmon NWS Duluth...Northern Ontario borders almost all of Northern Minnesota.
