What you can't see is how scary green the clouds were. I guess my camera sucks at picking up colour tones! And yeah, that light is always so eerie!

Derecho, Do a little editing with your photos and see what you can make of them. I usually shoot in this format called RAW on my DSLR which allows endless editing capabilites when it comes to sharpness, colour, contrast, clarity ect. That way you can edit the image to that way you saw it or how you want it. And another thing..those photos you have on facebook would make an epic panorama. If you dont mind i can put one together and send it to you if you would like

On a completley different note..
Today when i was at the brow watching the storm i was in awww because of the structure and the lightning as well as the debris filled air and the strong winds and rain that was just started...I was blown of my bike by at least a 90km/h gust. The rain really started to come down as the shelf overtook me so i decided to head back to my house and watch it from the road because i didnt want to ruin my 1500 dollars worth of camera gear. Every aspect of this storm was epic it was just an insane storm...probably in the top 5 or 10 all time for me. So today i went out with Storm Chaser to survery the damage. A block up the street from me there was a very large tree that had fallen on a home. There may have been some structural damage however not much was visible. We were riding around looking at the down trees and we decide to go back to the brow were I notice a large downed tree that fell exactly where i was standing. If i had have been there another 5 or so minutes I would have been killed. I will post some damage pics soon.
