I know we're all getting excited about the fact March is only eight days away, but we've still got some winter to deal with. Looks like a pretty decent storm is on its way impacting this evening and tonight across southern Ontario. General accumulations of 10cm for many. Areas in the watch could see as high at 15cm.

Do report in with observations. There could be light icing across the extreme southwest of the province, thus creating an ice storm potential.

Stay safe everyone!

..SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW EXPECTED TONIGHT..

---------------------------------------------------------------------
==DISCUSSION==

A COLORADO LOW IS EXPECTED TO BRING AN EXPANDING AREA OF SNOW INTO
SOUTHERN ONTARIO AS IT TRACKS TOWARDS NORTHERN OHIO TONIGHT.
SNOW AHEAD OF THIS LOW WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO LATER THIS
AFTERNOON THEN INTO REMAINING REGIONS THIS EVENING. SIGNIFICANT
AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE LIKELY WITH A POTENTIAL FOR 15 CM OF SNOW IN MANY
AREAS TONIGHT. THE SNOW MAY CHANGE OVER TO FREEZING RAIN AND ICE
PELLETS FOR A FEW HOURS TONIGHT IN LOCALES NEAR WESTERN LAKE ERIE
INCLUDING THE CITY OF WINDSOR.

BRISK EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO WHIP UP THE
FRESHLY FALLEN SNOW RESULTING IN LOW VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW IN
MANY AREAS. DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DETERIORATE QUICKLY
BEGINNING THIS EVENING AND BECOME HAZARDOUS DUE TO VERY LOW
VISIBILITY IN HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW. FREEZING RAIN IN THE
EXTREME SOUTHWEST MAY MAKE UNTREATED SURFACES BECOME ICY.

THE SNOW AND FREEZING PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST OF THE
DISTRICT BY MONDAY MORNING AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM RACES EAST OVER
PENNSYLVANIA TO SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND.

ENVIRONMENT CANADA IS CLOSELY MONITORING THE SITUATION. WARNINGS
WILL BE ISSUED LATER TODAY AS REQUIRED.

Looks like I done jinxed another storm, folks

:whistling:

They ended the winter storm watch for Huron, Perth, Waterloo, Wellington, Halton, and Peel counties. They replaced it with a winter weather advisory for 2-4" of snow, or 5-10cm.

Amazing snow totals in Windsor and Sarnia! They almost never get high snow amounts. They sure deserved this. I've got 6cm at my location, looks like the airport got 7cm according to the summary. It's amazing how the tiniest shift in the track of the low literally threw our snow forecast from 15-20cm Sunday morning to 5-10cm Sunday early afternoon for us all north of Woodstock.
