Slight risk of severe thunderstorms from the Sarnia area northeastward to Toronto then up into eastern Ontario. A weak cold front looks poised to make a passage through the area tomorrow early afternoon before pushing into New England. Damaging winds and heavy rains look to be the main threat. Looks favourable for the Niagara Peninsula for once ;)

...LOWER GREAT LAKES/NORTHEAST STATES...
SOUTHERN INFLUENCE OF A STRONG SHORTWAVE TROUGH OVER EASTERN
ONTARIO/QUEBEC WILL EXTEND ACROSS THE LOWER GREAT LAKES REGION ON
SATURDAY...AS A COLD FRONT ADVANCES EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD OVER THE
REGION. ALONG/AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT...IT SEEMS LIKELY THAT TSTMS
WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE/INTENSITY DURING THE
AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY FROM THE LEE OF THE LOWER GREAT LAKES INTO
NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. A STEEP LOW LEVEL LAPSE RATE ENVIRONMENT AND
LARGELY UNIDIRECTIONAL DEEP LAYER FLOW WILL SUPPORT POTENTIAL FOR
MULTICELL STORMS CAPABLE OF MAINLY DAMAGING WINDS.

Just some shots I took while cruising around town. The cells in the picture are facing south so must be either over lake Ontario or the towns/cities along the north shore of the lake (I'm on the south shore in St. Catharines)

Had a good chaseday, began with a small cell north of London with some Classic structure then a possible supercell that had some moments that made me wonder if I was going to see a touchdown
