Thanks to StarryNite who told me about a tree down in the Port Dalhousie neighborhood of St. Catharines.

STRONG winds today. I might head back out and go down to the Port Dalhousie piers to see if there's any nice waves crashing

Lightning shot was from last night (May7), tree damage shots from today (May8)

Sure is windy out! If Port Dalhousie is damaged, I wonder how the other towns along Lake Erie are faring in this wind.

That's crazy! All I could do was laugh and go wow while watching. Hopefully no broken ankles today  lol

Another felled tree next to Ridley College in west St. Catharines.

This 35-45 year old tree blew over at appr 2:15 this afternoon. Many, many old trees in this neighbourood near Ridley College, that could potentially be in this same predicament. Lots of broken branches strewn all over the place. Quite the excitement for this quiet neighbourhood...lol

The author swapped the real audio for strange music for some reason, but here's some video I found on YouTube shot in Port Dalhousie (St. Catharines) May 8 :

I shot some wind/snow related stuff! I know it's Canada and all but accumulating snow in May is weird anywhere south of Barrie.

I also have a quick mini-chase log from the 7th where a hydro pole was zapped and a transformer exploded. Video and web link below.
