Looks like the NWS/SPC are forecasting a possible severe weather outbreak Thurs-Sun from the Plains to the South/TN/OH Valley's.

NWS in Memphis is hinting at high tornado potential, and potential for up to 20 hours of developing and redeveloping of supercells. Jackson, MS NWS is also hinting at the same potential.

Memphis:
LOOKS LIKE A LONG DURATION /PERHAPS 18 HOURS LONG/...POTENTIALLY
SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK WITH ALL SEVERE TYPES IN PLAY.
THE POTENT 0-1KM SHEAR...VERY HIGH EHI VALUES...AND SIGNIFICANT
TORNADO PARAMETER VALUES UPWARDS OF 12 ARE PARTICULARLY
CONCERNING FOR TORNADOES. PERSISTENT REDEVELOPMENT OF SUPERCELLS
AND TRAINING POTENTIAL ALSO LEADS TO FLASH FLOODING CONCERNS.

PUSHES EAST. INITIALLY...THE SEVERE WEATHER RISK WILL BE LOCATED WEST
AND NORTH OF A BROOKHAVEN TO JACKSON TO DEKALB LINE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. AT THIS TIME SATURDAY LOOKS TO OFFER THE GREATEST
OVERALL RISK ACROSS THE ENTIRE FORECAST AREA. FORECAST MODELS
CONTINUE TO INDICATE THAT THIS EVENT HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A
PROLONGED EVENT WITH SOME PORTION OF THE FORECAST AREA SEEING
MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF STORMS BETWEEN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY
EVENING. ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER APPEAR POSSIBLE DURING THIS
