HEAVY SNOW..STRONG WINDS AND BLOWING SNOW BEGINNING THURSDAY
AFTERNOON.

A WINTER STORM APPROACHING THE EAST COAST WILL INTENSIFY AND AFFECT
MOST OF SOUTHERN ONTARIO THURSDAY. SNOW HAS ALREADY BEGUN OVER
EASTERN ONTARIO AND WILL SPREAD SLOWLY WESTWARD OVERNIGHT TO REACH
SOUTH CENTRAL ONTARIO DURING THURSDAY MORNING. SNOW WILL BE
INITIALLY LIGHT OVER MOST REGIONS AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THURSDAY
NIGHT.

THE MOST WINTERY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY
MORNING OVER THE AREAS ADJACENT TO WESTERN LAKE ONTARIO ESPECIALLY
THE NIAGARA ESCARPMENT. SNOW HEAVY AT TIMES COMBINED WITH STRONG
NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 70 KM/H WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY CAUSING
HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

THE PRECIPITATION OVER THE AREAS BETWEEN EASTERN LAKE ONTARIO AND THE
QUEBEC BORDER WILL BEGIN AS SNOW THURSDAY MORNING AND THEN CHANGE TO
HEAVY WET SNOW AND POSSIBLY RAIN THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

LISTEN FOR FURTHER STATEMENTS. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY ALSO BE
FOUND BY CONSULTING THE LATEST PUBLIC FORECAST. THE NEXT PUBLIC
FORECAST WILL BE ISSUED BY 3.30 PM.
