April 18th - Severe Thunderstorm
<hr> Skies went black over a period of about 15 seconds, winds and rain picked up followed by about 10 mins of pea-sized hail.
Damage in Niagara Falls heard on the scanner, of a large tree collapsing the front of a house. No injuries reported (thanks Mark)
75 knot wind gust (86 mph or 140 kmh) reported from Niagara Falls NY airport at 11 am (thanks Rob)

DAMAGE: Large trees crashed through walls and roofs of homes, damage to cars, shingles and roofs ripped from homes in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, large part of roof ripped off school, debris thrown into nearby field.

Thunderstorms producing large hail and strong winds are expected over
the above regions this morning.
This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms
with large hail and damaging winds.
