Severe thunderstorms, tornado

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for many parts of Southern Ontario.  Nothing severe happened though.  Half decent light show just after sunset.  There was a great cauliflower Cb with huge anvil that *looked* good through the viewfinder when I shot it, but after I got the film back the contrast between the cloud and the sky was next to nothing so it didn't show up :(  A tornado touched down in Lac St-Jean here in Quebec, pictures taken by Dennis Collard can be viewed below.

A tornado rated an F2 touched down in Quebec. Environment Canada confirmed a category F2 tornado touched down near the village of St. Gedeon around 7 p.m. For 10 minutes, winds gusting up to 250 kilometres an hour blasted the area. At least 12 homes suffered serious damage. Two were completely destroyed, along with a barn and a garage.

Some video captures (vidcaps) of the storm.  Shots across the lake (L.Ontario) are taken from St. Catharines Municiple Beach facing north.  Time stamps are in lower right.  Lightning vidcaps after that were taken from Niagara-On-The-Lake (NOTL) facing east.
