(I'm keeping track of the dates so I can graph them all at the end of the year).  These are thunderstorms that have occurred in St. Catharines/Niagara only.  It would not be possible to be informed of every t-storm in southern Ontario, so these are only the ones that I have personally witnessed...  Severe storms are marked in red.

These records are based on official Env.Canada confirmations and eye-witness accounts from newspapers and TV (since it is not possible for Env.Can. to confirm all of them).  Tornados listed in RED have been confirmed by Environment Canada. This is by NO MEANS an official list - it's just what I've been able to keep track of. (Thanks to Travis Farncombe and others on the wx-chase-can list for some of these!)
May 8th - (F1) Ottawa, Ont -> Hull, Que , May 8th - small F1 (winds 116km/hr, 10m wide)
June 2nd - (F1) North of Wiarton, Ont, June 02, ~1pm, 4km damage path
June 25th - West of Ottawa
July 3rd - near Collingwood (damage to buildings and cars)
July 3rd - (F1) near Duncan (damage to buildings)
July 16th - SW of Kenora
July 16th - Wabigoon Lake - destroyed boat house, trees, hydro lines
July 16th - Dryden - house moved off foundation, snapped trees, hydro lines
July 17th - Cornwall area
July 17th - Calabogi
July 24th - Mississauga
July 24th - Beeton (reported at 6:30pm)
July 24th - Barrie
July 24th - Newmarket (group of golfers sighted "funnel cloud moving their way")
July 24th - Niagara-on-the-Lake (30m-wide swath through vineyard, East-West Line / Lakeshore Rd.)

July 31st - Windsor (possible tornado spotted by ambulance crew.  Saw dust/debris)
July 31st - near Berkeley, Grey/Bruce region (funnel, possible touchdown)

KILLER STORMS / STORM DEATHS: 3 / 3
These records are based on Environment Canada summaries and news reports.
July 16th - 8 people struck by lightning, 1 woman from Burlington area died 2 days later.
July 24th - 1 man dead in Windsor who was knocked from a tree during high winds.
July 31st - 5 people struck by lightning, 1 person died west of Toronto.
